Chakrapani Engineering Works was started in the year 1969 by Mr.M.Chakrapani. The growth of the company accelerated gradually with the help of excellent customer relationship with the company. By viewing service excellence of this company, ELMOT Alternator manufacturer based in Bombay called them to act as their Service Representative for entire Tamilnadu, during 1979 – 83.

During 1984, Ashok Leyland Ltd. the leader of vehicle manufacturers in India appointed them as Industrial Engine Service Dealer for the operational territory at Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thriuvallur, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram and Cuddalore Districts of Tamilnadu, India. Our service responsibilities includes the warranty attention of A/L Industrial engines used for Loader, Poclain, Genset, Fire Fighting, Water Pump, Excavators, Compressors, TOWING Tractor for Aircraft, Track Machines of Southern Railway, etc., and also to warrant trouble-free performance on their engines, which is beyond warranty at customer end. This company fulfilled the responsibilities entrusted to them, for the ample satisfaction of the customer.

During same year, the Fully Equipped Service Workshop was established and their expeditious and intense service leads the company to establish their name splendidly in customer service network.

In lieu of vast Industrial network in Vellore, Tamilnadu and its outskirts, the company had opened a Branch at Vellore in the year 1990, to serve the customer more efficiently and instantly. The company opened special LEYPARTS Sales Showroom in 1994 in heart of city at Chennai, Tamilnadu for appropriate expedience of Leyland customers.

Mobile Service Van is introduced by us during 1998 with fully equipped machinery and tools with Leyparts to be used for major service at customer door step which salvage precious time to great extent.
